Last updated: November 1, 2026 | Applies to www.frixb.com
frixB (Pvt) Ltd. is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone whose personal information we process. We aim to handle personal information lawfully, fairly, and with care.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website at www.frixb.com (the "Site"), contact us, book a strategy call, work with us as a client, or apply for a role with us. Where a signed agreement with you, such as a Project Agreement or Data Processing Agreement (DPA), contains specific privacy terms, those terms take precedence for the matters they cover.
Who we are
In this Privacy Policy, "frixB", "we", "us", and "our" mean frixB (Pvt) Ltd., a company incorporated in Sri Lanka under company registration number PV 00281575, with its registered office in Haliela 90060, Sri Lanka. Our full postal address is available on request.
frixB is the controller of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This means we decide how and why it is processed.
When we process personal information on behalf of a client inside the products and services we build for them, such as data about their end users, we act as a processor or service provider. In that case we follow the client's instructions and our agreement with them, and the client's privacy policy applies.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at [email protected]. See Section 11 for more contact details.
1. Types of personal information we process
"Personal information" means any information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an individual. Some laws call this "personal data". Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following:
- Identifiers and contact details, such as your name, email address, company name, job title, and any other contact details you give us.
- Inquiry and project details, such as your product stage, the services you are interested in, your expected investment range, your preferred start time, and the content of your messages.
- Call information, such as notes from strategy calls and meetings and, with your permission, recordings of those calls.
- Commercial and billing information, such as billing contact details, invoices, and project records.
- Recruitment information, such as your CV, portfolio links, work history, education, answers to application questions, and interview notes.
- Marketing preferences, such as your newsletter subscription status and communication preferences.
- Technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, language, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, time on page, and approximate location based on your IP address.
We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information, such as health information, financial account details, or government identification numbers. Please do not send this information to us unless we specifically ask for it.
2. Sources of personal information
Information you provide directly. We collect information you give us when you complete our contact form, book a call through Cal.com, email us, subscribe to our newsletter, apply for a role, or work with us as a client.
Information collected through automated technologies. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect technical and usage information through server logs and, with your consent where the law requires it, cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. Section 5 explains how we use cookies and how you can control them.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from:
- Cal.com, our booking tool, when you book a call;
- clients or partners who refer you to us;
- public professional profiles, such as LinkedIn, when you contact us or apply for a role; and
- recruitment platforms, if you apply through one.
3. Use of personal information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Responding to inquiries. To review your inquiry, prepare for and hold strategy calls, and send you proposals.
- Providing our services. To deliver projects, communicate with you, issue invoices, and provide support.
- Recruitment. To assess applications, hold interviews, and make hiring decisions.
- Operating and securing the Site. To keep the Site running, fix errors, and prevent spam, abuse, and fraud.
- Analytics and improvement. To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Marketing and advertising. To send newsletters you have subscribed to and to measure the performance of our advertising.
- Compliance. To meet our obligations under applicable law, respond to lawful requests, establish, exercise, or defend claims, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Grounds for processing. Where the law requires a lawful basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Consent, for analytics and marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel, newsletters, and call recordings. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
- Contract, to take steps you ask for before entering into a contract, and to perform a contract with you.
- Compliance with a legal obligation, for example to keep tax and accounting records.
- Legitimate interests, to respond to business inquiries, secure the Site, improve our services, and send business communications where the law allows, provided your rights and interests do not override ours.
Automated decisions and AI tools. We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing. People review all inquiries and job applications. We use AI tools to assist with tasks such as summarising research, drafting, and reviewing work. Where those tools process personal information, we use them only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and only with providers whose terms protect that information. Client project data is handled under each client's Project Agreement and any DPA.
6. International transfers
frixB is based in Sri Lanka and works with clients worldwide. The Site is hosted by Hostinger on servers in Jakarta, Indonesia. Google, Meta, and Cal.com may process personal information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your country.
Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses where available. Contact us for more information.
7. Retention of personal information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Privacy Policy, then delete or anonymise it. Our standard retention periods are:
- Inquiries that do not become projects: 1 year.
- Client contracts, invoices, and project records: 3 years, or longer where the law requires it.
- Unsuccessful job applications: 6 months, or longer if you agree that we may consider you for future roles.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe. We keep a suppression record so that we do not contact you again.
We may keep information for longer where we need it to establish, exercise, or defend a claim.
8. Security of personal information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, such as access controls and limiting access to people who need it. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been put at risk, please contact us at [email protected] right away.
9. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Job and internship applicants must also be at least 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, and subject to exceptions under applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and
- not be treated differently for exercising your rights.
These rights may apply to people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, certain US states, Australia, Sri Lanka, and other places with data protection laws.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on your request. We aim to respond within one month, or sooner where the law requires it. If we cannot fulfil your request, we will explain why.

The Site contains links to third-party websites and to our profiles on X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. These websites and platforms handle your information under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices. If you interact with us on these platforms, the platform may share information with us under its terms.
